The week of October 5, 2026, is California Crunch Week—a Farm to School promotion celebrating students eating fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables in our schools!

By Thursday,  October 1, 2026, each school site kitchen will receive "Crunch It, Munch It" stickers to reward students who choose fresh fruits and vegetables from our school salad bars. Please make these stickers available at your salad bars as students pass through. Wearing these stickers lets students proudly show off their tasting accomplishments and gets them excited to participate!

Let’s spread the word that trying fresh fruits and veggies at school is fun—it's time to CRUNCH IT AND MUNCH IT!
